										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>2009 Nobel Prize winner in medicine, Elizabeth Blackburn, has found in studies that meditation helps your chromosomes be healthier and younger, lowering biological age. Specifically, he research into chromosomes had her look a specific ways to stop aging and lengthen life. She found measurable result in those who meditated compared to those who did not.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, most Westerners are bred from birth with the belief that they must keep moving at a rapid pace or die. This is a bit too close to the behavior of animals when they are being hunted, which creates a perpetual state of stress. Stress is the leading cause of aging and illness.</p>
<p>The moral of the story? Meditation is one of the simplest and most ancient ways to break the animal fear and heal the mind and body. In this 5-minute video, Blackburn&#8217;s research on how meditation can decrease aging and increase life are examined.</p>

<p>Now, you might think your life is stressful, maybe it even feels like a battle, but you’ve got it EASY compared to soldiers on the front lines. If meditation can help them, <strong>you can imagine what it could do for you</strong>! You can also consider that the army is very scientific and not looking for unproven woo-woo ideas.</p>
<p>The article states:</p>

Victor Won</p></blockquote>
<p>You can begin your own practice today by simply sitting still, upright, as the men in the photo, and point your attention to your in and out breath. You remind will wander, like a puppy roaming off the paper. That’s OK. Just notice, let go of any stress about that, and return your attention to feeling your breath coming in and out. Puppies and minds need gentle daily training! Just 5 minutes in the morning could mean the difference between a day of agitation or a day of ease.</p>
