I find the best thing to do is just not participate in the game. There’s no planning, no exchanges or strategies. We only go out with people we actually like. As soon as it’s not fun, stop! Just that way you described it.

Over in Central and Eastern Europe there is no such thing as dating, your just always flirting and having fun. And eventually your with the same person having fun a lot, fall in love and then your together. Moving back to the US has been an unbelievable sterile experience. Hope it gets better, it feels like everything runs on market values here.

The few times I tried “dating” I did not like it. I had subscribed to a dating service and quit it 3 weeks into and way before the term was up.
